Today I am posing two cards. The other one is here.
This one is once again with demure stamp. I wanted to try different color combination with this stamp. I have mainly used reds and pinks before to make these cards- sending love, true friends, birthday wishes. So, decided to try light blue, violet and light brown.
I used a stencil with distress inks and gold embossing paste to create a background. I stamped, painted and cut the flowers. After fixing a Damask motif die-cut on stenciled piece, I arranged cut flowers on upper right corner, and thin, matching teal colored paper stripes as stems through the motif die-cut.
Lastly, I embellished it with a black rhinestone, a white/gold twine and a handwritten 'Congrats' sentiment label,
Here are the pictures photographs taken with and without flash to highlight the gold embossing.
Enjoy!
