Clustered Leaves- One Craft Die Three Ways

Hello,

I am sharing cards which involves using one die in three different ways. I am sharing this post with Ranganjali Store's Blog. They are also having an amazing GIVEAWAY.

Well, we all know that metal dies can cut paper, felt, foam and a couple of other surfaces, and that, foam shapes are used for stamping. It was the die- Simon Says Stamp's Clustered Leaves die which I felt will turn out to be a good and useful foam stamp having big leaves and a large overall diecut shape. Off course the die creates beautiful, versatile diecut shape which can also be used as a mask, but it also leaves negative shape good enough as a beautiful stencil, albeit for 2-3 dry uses if it is a paper.

Check these out!

Finally, the mask itself becomes an element here.

Happy Mother's Day!

A special card for a spacial person!

I created this card with embossing which I colored with soft pastels and added matching embellishments.

I started with embossing with Vintage wallpaper embossing folder on a cream/beige color cardstock. Then, I colored raised image with purple and pink soft art pastels, cut some circles with patterns with Spellbinders dies and arranged them over a thin, light pink ribbon, added punched butterflies in matching pink and added a small tag with the greeting. Lastly I added Glossy Accents to add shine to butterflies and added whole piece on a matching purple and finally on same cream/beige cardstock to make a vertical, top folding card.

I believe, nothing can be more soft, feminine and yet graceful in combination than light pink and purple to present to a mother.
