Hello,
Today I am posting three cards I made for Rangajali Blog. They are having monthly challenge for this month on 'watercolours'.
Here, I have used similar set of supplies for all to create different looks. I love frames. I am not sure what makes them more attractive to me. But they are often part of many of my design ideas. This time I decided to used multiple small frames in combination with floral focus. So, I decided to use My Favorite Things' Stitched Stax Dies- Rectangles and Circles with Altenew's Striped Floral stamp set.
I embossed the images on Artist Loaf's 140lb watercolor paper with clear embossing powder. I used Distress Inks and Prima Marketing's Watercolor Pencils to colour the images, I then cut them. I embossed some leaf images directly on front panel.
I used two die-sets to create different sized windows in different orientation on the front panel. I embossed a stitched frame around these windows with dies one size larger. I used embossing folders to emboss the cardbase to have textured background peeking through these windows.
For final assembly, I used foam sheets and tape under front panels to enhance effect of windows, adhere them with double-sided tape, added coloured floral elements. The sentiments are from Altenew's Label Love stamp set. Lastly, I added dots in center of flowers and on front panel.
