Persian Motifs- Hello

Hi,
I made another card with Altenew's Persian Motifs. This stamp set is one of my favorites. Being from Asia, I am probably inadvertently biased toward such designs and bright colors.

I used Peerless watercolors here. I have become a fan of this product now. The small bonus pack of 40 colors is my first exposure to these colors. I love their variety, vibrancy and non-primary tones.

Here is the card.

First, I stamped big flower images with a light colored marker on a watercolor paper. I colored remaining background with- Robin's Egg Blue, Mauve and Cobalt blue. After it dried, I embossed flower and leave images in gold over the initial stamped images which were not yet colored and in remaining colored background. Now, I colored the first stamped images- flowers with Arbutis Pink and Alizerine Red, and stems with Robbin's Egg Blue.

I die-cut a vellum piece with Butterfly Tendrils die from Simon Says Stamp (btw, this die is on sale right now) and trim it to adjust it in middle of the card between two bright flowers, behind the 'hello'. I die-cut "hello' thrice, stacked and adhere it. I adhered the small butterfly which was cut as a negative piece and decorated with Liquid Pearls. Lastly, I added the whole panel to a midnight blue cardstock. That's it! Pretty simple!

Enjoy!

This card is absolutely gorgeous! You are so skilled with watercolors and the blending you did is incredible! I also really like the metallic touches that you included. The color palette is stunning and that red pops so nicely against the background. I also love how the vellum pieces turned out. Thank you so much for sharing your work with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
