Happy Spring- In Pastels

I think about spring and can't resist creating something in a splash of colors. Colors are, sort of, my weakness. It is hard for me to create something in monochrome, may be my culture has some influence there.

Anyway, I created this card based on a style I saw on here. For spring theme, I collected all the stamps I had of various branches, small flowers and small butterflies and selected a few of relevant sizes. I masked the center of the card with a circle paper and stamped selected branches in pastel colors. I did not bother to mask stamped ones while adding another image besides it. After removing the mask, I added small flowers, butterflies and the sentiment. I applied a blue Distress ink around the edges to pull all the images together. Adding stitched detail, a small die cut flourish, a flower and bright twines completed this simple card.

Items used:
Dies: Paper Smooches Stitched dies,  Spellbinders die D-lites- Garden weave
Stamps: Stampin up- Betsy's blossoms, Inkadinkado- ferns, winter branches, meadow flowers
Punch: Small flower punch
Ink: Colorbox, Stayzon, Distress
Paper: Recollection and Neenah white cardstock
Embellishments: Rhinestone, Baker's twines- orange, yellow
