Blue & Coral- Thanks 1

Hello Friends,

Today, I am posting two thank you cards. Both the backgrounds are done with watercolors techniques.

In the first one, I have tried to use negative painting technique with the aid of the stamped image to create impression of more flowers and background foliage using Faded Jeans distress ink. I then stamped, lightly colored same images in Abandoned Coral distress ink on another watercolor paper, curled the petals with embossing tool and adhered with foam tape on the background.

I layered 'thanks' white on blue to make it more visible. Lastly, added enamel dots and silver leaves with the help of a Memory box's die.

The second card is posted here.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

These are really stunning! I love the soft look you achieved with the watercolor technique and the color palette you chose was striking. Once again you've shown how navy can be the star of the show! Love the metallic touches and how you've outlined the sentiment. Gorgeous layers and I'm so glad you shared this with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
