Metallic Finish- Diwali Greetings

Hello,

Posting some more Diwali cards. They are pretty simple to make but the idea took some time to develop. I embossed the kraft cardstocks first, but process of finding out what to do next to bring out the details and what sort of embellishments to use was rather tedious. Working with kraft seems difficult and restricting sometimes.

Anyway, here are the cards.

I first used white chalk ink over embossed panels to bring out the details. However, I did not like that much and so I worked on an idea- to use perfect pearls - Gold and Copper to create metallic finish. I used glitter stripes in between cut pieces of a panel to create a different look. Lastly, I added the stamped sentiment, white pearls and golden embroidery floss.

Let me know how it turned out.
Happy Halloween!
