Vintage Roses- Thank You

Hello,

I took a break from making cards with watercolors and made a couple of quick thank you cards with some stamps and a punch.

I used rose and leaves stamps from Altenew's vintage flowers stamp set, stamped the images and cut them. I stamped the card base with a border stamp in black ink. For silver shiny leaves, I re-purposed a aluminum foil lid which is used over disposable foil pans :) and punched out leaves. The lid is of perfect thickness and shine to add a little interest in the card.

I then stamped the greeting. To balance the card design, I stamped a small butterfly or a small matching motif on right lower corner.

Here is a close-up.

This card is amazing! It is so elegant and sophisticated, yet those colors are so fun and energetic! You did an incredible job on the flowers and I thought it was BRILLIANT to include the metallic leaves-- made out of a foil pan no less! It was also fun to see how the cards looked different with the butterfly versus the motif. Excellent job here and I'm so glad you shared these with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
